Global Status

Domestic Status
The world's longest seawall (33.9 km) connecting Gunsan and Buan in Jeollabuk-do will be built to create reclaimed land (291㎢), lakes and marshes (118㎦) and to develop the Gogunsan Islands (3.3㎦) and a new harbor (4.4㎦) outside the seawall.
